Josh graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver in December 2004. He spent the first 15 years of his career working in public accounting. During that time, he worked for two national firms and spent more than 10 years of the 15 with a large local firm leaving there as an Audit Director to start his own firm. He ran his own firm until Spring of 2019 and is currently the VP of Finance for TRG Arts.
During his time in public accounting Josh served organizations with revenues up to $200 million, in the following industries: non-profit, healthcare, employee benefit plans, government contracting, high tech and construction. His expertise includes accounting, financial reporting, audit, review, compilation, and consulting services, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) compliance.
Additionally, Josh has presented seminars on financial accounting and management topics to a variety of audiences including c-suite executives and to the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. He has also served as a business advisor to the Southern Colorado Springs Business Advisor winner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Currently, Josh serves as Treasurer on the board of directors of KCME and as the Secretary of the PTAC board. He also serves on the board of directors for the High Country Home Educators Support Group. Additionally, he volunteers as a leader with Royal Rangers, a local boys club.
